- My name is Melanie Powers. I am a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and became a Realtor in 2003. I now hold licenses in both Kentucky and Indiana. Before joining Weichert Realtors/ABG Properties, I was a full service Realtor in the Indianapolis area. I have personally owned several homes and have experienced an out of state move first hand. I enjoy working with all clients but find particular reward in helping first time home buyers and making their experience stress-free and enjoyable. I also own a small business that offers real estate photography and 360 degree virtual tours. I currently live in Shelbyville with my family which includes my husband, my son and a very spoiled Llewellin Setter. I enjoy good books, good friends, and good college football.
